Our robotics club in First Lego League competition in intare conference arena

On 16/03/2024 our robotics club attended First Lego League in intare conference arena.This competition aims to create robots and use artificial intelligence to solve various problems. This year it was attended by students from 25 schools in Rwanda, one in Uganda, four in Nigeria and three in Botswana.The competition, called the 'First Lego League & AI Hackathon', was attended by students between the ages of nine and 16.

President Kagame and Madam Jeannette Kagame participated in the closing of the final stage of the international competition that brings together different companies where they focus on creating a technology project using Robots.

The Head of State gifted a computer to every student who participated in the competition to encourage them to love what they study.He said, “I want to give a computer to each of these young participants. Ministry of Technology and Ministry of Education, deliver my gift to them.These computers are intended for Rwandans and foreigners who participated in this competition.He said, “I have money here in my pocket, that's why I said that I will not burder you about the budget, so I will take care of it. President Kagame said that the use of robots and artificial intelligence are things that would help students learn science and technology better and help them work together.
